KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Post, a state-owned posting agency, says it has resumed posting services to foreign countries.
In a Facebook post, the company said, “Following continued efforts of the leadership of the company, Afghan Post was able to resume its services (parcels, small bags, letters, educational documents and instant postal services) to Asian, European and American states.”
The source said that people would be able to use the services after March 12 by visiting the nearest Afghan Post branch.
Afghan Post did not provide details about the date when its services suspended, but after regime change in Afghanistan in August last year, some restrictions were imposed on Afghanistan and some of its official activities were suspended.
