PARAKH (Pajhwok): Twelve suspected individuals have been arrested in connection to the killing of a man from the Khanj district of central Panjsher province, according to local sources on Sunday.
The incident happened on Saturday night that triggered a number of local residents to gather in the area on Saturday.
They planned to carry the body of the deceased person and protest in front of the Governor House but Governor Mawlavi Qudratullah himself arrived in the village.
Ahmad Shah Ayubi, the resident of Matae village alleged security force took Ghulam Sakhi out of his house on Saturday night and put off his body in front of his house after killing him.
Panjsher Police Chief Mawlavi Dad Mohammad confirmed the killing of a man and said security forces reacted timely and arrested at least 12 people who committed negligence.
The reason is not clear, security forces claimed that he was trying to open fire.
