The source said that ICRC also donated X-ray machine, a blood bank refrigerator, a microscope and 65 pieces of medical equipment worth 25 million afghanis.
Dr. Muzamil, Farah public health director, told Pajhwok that the hospital had more facilities than other clinics in the district.
He said that the new health center would solve many problems of local people.
An official of ICRC, Syed Abdul Malik, said that they did not disclose the cost of the hospital as per their policy.
However, he said construction work on the clinic had begun in December last year and was now completed.
On the other hand, local people are happy with the hospital in their area.
Haji Abdul Zahir, a tribal elder from Bakwa district, said that there were four more clinics in the district, but the newly built was well-equipped, which could hospitalize more patients at a time.
