KABUL (Pajhwok): Electricity supply from Uzbekistan province has been reconnected, Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) on Sunday.
The power utility said the imported electricity which was cut due to severe wind storm on Saturday night was reconnected today (Sunday).
In a statement, the power utility said after reconnected electricity supply from Uzbekistan its distribution in the country had returned to normal.
Meanwhile, DABS on Saturday said that electricity supply from Uzbekistan cut off to Kabul and power supply from Turkmenistan cut off to Herat province.
