Niklasson, Sadiq discuss Afghanistan, region

KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union Special Representative for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson has met with the Pakistani special envoy for Afghanistan during his visit to Islamabad.

Tomas Niklasson in a Tweet today said that he had met with Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan's Special Representative for Afghanistan and discussed some important issues relating to Afghanistan.

He said that he had productive talks with the Pakistani special envoy for Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Sadiq also in a Tweet confirmed that he had met with Tomas Niklasson, in Islamabad and discussed some issues concerning Afghanistan and the region.

The EU special representative for Afghanistan arrived in Kabul last week and met with officials of the caretaker government.
