KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) announced on Tuesday it was auctioning 12 million dollars tomorrow to strengthen the local currency.
In a statement, the central bank said it would inject $12 million into the market tomorrow (Wednesday, March 23) in the form of auction.
DAB asked commercial banks, exchange companies and monetary services to participate in the tender.
According to the bank, the winners of tender are obliged to settle their accounts immediately until the end of the day.
