MAHMOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Education officials of central Kapisa province say that there is a shortage of 1,338 school teachers in the province.
Mohammad Javed Forotan, in charge of evaluation at Education Department of Kapisa, talking at the opening ceremony of schools today, said, "We need 1,338 more teachers for our students for the current 1401 solar year."
He said that the suggestion for employment of more teachers has been sent to the Ministry of Education and hoped their request would be accepted.
He said that 137,856 students of which 38 percent are girls attend schools in the province.
