LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead a man inside his house in the Nawa district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Sunday.
Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Riaz identified the victim as Rahmatullah, actual resident of Lashkargah City but had been living in Treekhnawar area of Nawa district.
He told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Unknown armed men entered Rahmatullah’s house and shot him to death on Saturday night.”
Riza said the motive behind the killing was yet to be known, but security forces had launched a manhunt for the killers.
