26 people injured in Maidan Wardak accidents, blast

MAIDAN SHAHAR (Pajhwok): Twenty-six people have been killed in two separate traffic accidents and a blast in central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Monday.

Public Health Director Mohammad Zark Zeerak told Pajhwok Afghan News 19 people were killed in two traffic accidents on Sunday in the Shaikhabad and Zarnai localities of Maidan Wardak’s Syedabad district.

Separately, seven people were killed in a war remnant blast in the Doab area of Syedabad, he added.

The health condition of the eight injured were critical and taken to Kabul for treatment.
