KABUL (Pajhwok): The Taliban’s supreme leader has instructed security organs not to appoint underage children in their ranks.
In a decree, Maulvi Haibatullah Akhundzada ordered all security and defence institutions to avoid hiring minors and not to deploy them for military operations.
The presence of underage children in military units would bring notoriety to the mujahidin, the supreme leader warned.
Akhundzada went on to say the Taliban’s military commission would disarm those violating the decree.
