$32 million cash assistance arrives in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty-two million dollars cash assistance from the international community has reached Kabul and the amount was handed over to the Afghanistan International Bank (AIB), Da Afghanistan Bank (ADB) said on Thursday.

“DAB welcomes the international community’s assistance and stresses that the transfer of aid through banking channels are effective in terms of transparency and its distribution to the masses.”

DAB being the central bank of the country strives for cordial ties with other banks in the world and hopes that the international community would pay attention and facilitate banking processes and related activities.

This assistance marks the 20^th tranche of cash assistance with Afghanistan since the start of international aid to Afghanistan.
