JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three people who allegedly extorted people in the disguise of government officials have been arrested in eastern Nanagarhar province, according to government source on Friday.
The provincial Intelligence Directorate (ID) on its twitter handle wrote one of the arrested persons introduced himself as intelligence chief and another introduced himself as the son of a former Jihadi leader and extorted people.
“Three people who extorted common people in the disguise of Islamic Emirate leaders had been arrested,” according to the ID tweet.
