HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Security officials said 11 security personnel were killed in a traffic accident in western Herat province on Sunday.
Mahmoud Shah Rasouli, Herat police spokesman, confirmed the incident and told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident happened around 11am today when a ranger pick-up of border forces crashed into a truck in Ghorian district of the province.
He said that 11 people onboard in the pickup, all of whom belonged to security forces of the Islamic Emirate, were killed in the incident.
Rasouli said that security personnel arrived at the scene but the driver of the truck . . .
