KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Premier Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has hinted at a positive decision on education for girls beyond grade six.
Without going into details, Baradar told reporters during his visit to Farah province on Friday: “A good action will be taken with regard to girls’ education.
In case of a green signal from the Taliban leadership, the Ministry of Education says it is fully prepared to reopen secondary schools for girls.
The global fraternity has repeatedly called for the Taliban administration to put girls back in school and give women the right to employment.
