KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 2,500 Ukrainian security forces were killed and around 10,000 others injured since the launch of Russian military action, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday
During an exclusive interview with CNN, the Ukraine president said up to 20,000 Russian soldiers were killed during the period.
Last month, Russian military said its 1,351 soldiers have been killed and 3,825 other injured during the conflict so far.
Saturday marked 52nd day of Russia military aggression against Ukraine where Moscow is trying to push back Ukrainian troops from the eastern region.
Ukraine president has warned the world should be ready for the use of nuclear weapons by Russia. He asked European and western countries to provide Ukraine with more military support, saying it was not known how long the war will last.
