KABUL (Pajhwok): Reacting to Pakistani attacks on Afghanistan’s villages, the Ministry of Defense on Sunday said that Afghans had never remained silent to any invasions and would always defend their territory and people.
Pakistani planes reportedly bombed Waziristan refugees’ houses in Khost province and Sheltan district in Kunar province, killing dozens of civilians.
Waziristan refugees were the main victims of these attacks in Khost province.
Enayat Khwarazmi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, condemned the attacks as inhumane and cruel.
"In fact, it was a clear violation of international law, diplomatic principles and the right to neighborliness. We have always called on neighboring countries and countries in the region to resolve problems through principled and diplomatic means and no country should test Afghans or force them to retaliate,” he said.
Afghans throughout history had not remained silent to any "aggressors and occupiers", they have always defended their land, people and country, he said.
