KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) officials held an online meeting with their World Bank (WB) counterparts on Sunday and discussed the resumption of the WB’s development projects in Afghanistan.
Both sides discussed technical cooperation and facilitating a mechanism for humanitarian assistance with Afghanistan, a statement from the DAB said.
Lotfulhaq Noor Pasarlai, a senior DAB economic advisor, during the meeting, termed a constructive relationship with the WB vital for the facilitation of humanitarian aid and stability to the financial system.
He reaffirmed DAB was ready for any kind of cooperation in line with acceptable international norms and laws . . .
