KABUL (Pajhwok): A major international firm has evinced a keen interest in making investments in Afghanistan.
Himprom representatives expressed the company’s interest at a meeting with Minister of Commerce and Industry Nooruddin Azizi.
The company, involving German, Russian and Chinese investors, voiced its readiness to invest in different sectors in Afghanistan.
The ministry said firm planned to invest in waste management, production of chemical fertilisers, as well as gas, fuel and power generation.
Azizi, who commended the firm’s willingness to invest in Afghanistan, highlighted the importance of its business proposals and work projects.
