KABUL (Pajhwok): A delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) will visit Iran soon for talks on the problems being face by Afghan refugees in the neighbouring country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the situation of Afghan refugees in a phone call.
Meanwhile, the government’s deputy spokesman said a delegation would travel to Tehran to assess the situation of Afghan refugees.
Bilal Karimi, however, pointed out the exact date of the trip, coming ahead of a quadrilateral meeting on the issue next month, was yet to be worked out.
