KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior on Thursday said security forces had prevented the smuggling of a surveillance balloon to Iran and arrested one person in connection with the plot.
The ministry in a video clip posted on its Twitter account said that the detainee, Mustafa, was from Gizab district of Uruzgan and wanted to smuggle a surveillance balloon left from US forces, to Iran in connivance with another person named Ali Reza.
