PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Two Pakistani welfare organisations have dispatched humanitarian food assistance to Afghanistan.
On behalf of the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum and Baitul Islam Welfare Trust, a Torkham-based official handed over 80 tonnes of food to the Afghan counterparts.
The humanitarian aid would be distributed to 3,000 deserving families in Afghanistan, the official said.
Maulvi Khalid, a border affairs official who received the aid, thanked Pakistan and its people for their continued support.
