LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Officials in southern Helmand province say 90 local classes are being set up in the Nawzad district of the province.
Hafiz Hakimi, deputy head of education department, told Pajhwok Afghan News the local classes were being started with financial support of the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
He added basic education would be provided to 3150 children, youth and women of Nawzad district.
He added that 75 classes would be reserved for men and 15 for women.
He said that the organization did not share information about the cost of these classes as per its policy.
