Plots to disrupt security foiled, claims intelligence chief

KABUL (Pajhwok) The General-Directorate of Intelligence claims thwarting conspiracies aimed to disrupt Afghanistan’s national security.

IEA Intelligence Director Maulvi Abdul Haq Wasiq lamented the loss of precious lives in multiple terrorist acts in different parts of the country in recent days.

“All the tactics of the enemies to upset the security situation have failed,” Bakhtar News Agency quoted as saying. He assured the people of tight security.”

The spymaster remarked: “The enemies are attacking defenseless places such as schools and mosques, and this shows their weakness…”
