KABUL (Pajhwok): About 3.9 billion afghanis have been earned from coal exports over the past eight months, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on Tuesday.
The customs value of the coal exports from September to April accounted for 1.2 billion afghanis -- up from last year’s 244 million afs.
While the customs value of the coal exported from September 1 to the end of the end of last year stood at 16.3 billion afs and the revenue collected soaring to 3.9 billion afs, the ministry said in a statement.
