PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A Pakistan-based charity has dispatched eight more truckloads of relief items to neighboring Afghanistan.
Arranged by Al-Khidmat Foundation under its Ramazan package, the assistance was over to the Afghan authorities at Torkham.
Estimated at Rs20 million, the aid included food packages and other items, which was delivered to Afghan authorities at a ceremony at Torkham.
So far, the charity said, 1311 tonnes of relief goods worth Rs300 million had been handed over to Afghan officials.
The assistance has been distributed to needy families in Kunar, Paktika, Nangarhar, Kabul, Helmand, Kandahar and other provinces.
