PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Nineteen weapons have been seized from a house in northern Baghlan province, a police official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Mohammad Idrees Sherzad told Pajhwok Afghan News police raided a house in the Bashi Allahadad village of Baghlan-i-Markazi district on Saturday.
He said 15 M-16 weapons, two rockets, as many Kalashnikovs, 300 magazines full of bullets and other ammunition were recovered from the house.
Qari Mustafa, police chief for the district, told Pajhwok the weapons were captured during a clearing operation.
