22 suspected criminals detained, says MoI

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 22 individuals have been detained on charges of murder, robberies and forgery in several provinces, including Kabul.

The Ministry of interior (MoI) said the arrests were made over the last 24 hours in Nimroz, Uruzgan, Kabul, Herat and Samangan provinces.

Without elaborating, the ministry said eight people were detained in Nimroz, five each in Kabul and Uruzgan and one in Herat.

In a statement, MoI said three suspects were arrested in connection with possessing fake banknotes.

According to the statement, about 500 fake dollars and 20,000 afghanis were seized from the three individuals.
