Delegation tasked with probing driving issues

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Cabinet has instructed a delegation to investigate driving under influence of drugs, accidents and traffic disorder.

Inamullah Samangani, deputy spokesman for the government, tweeted that the delegation was headed by Eng. Sidiqullah Abed, deputy minister of transport and civil aviation.

According to him, the delegation will review issues related to driving by addicted people and the creation of disorder and traffic accidents by the “Mojahideen”.

Meanwhile, during Eid holidays, a large number of traffic accidents were reported in the country, mostly in Zabul province.

Officials in Zabul said that one individual was killed and 349 others were wounded due to traffic accidents in the province.
