PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Following last year’s regime change, the daily production of Ghori Cement Factory has declined from 600 tonnes to 100 tonnes, an official said on Tuesday.
Riyazuddin Sharifi, a senior official of the National Development Organisation, told Pajhwok Afghan News administrative problems had emerged in the factory after the regime change.
One of the problems is the non-payment of salaries to 900 workers. Subsequently, the daily production of the factory has fallen from 600 tonnes to 100 tonnes.
Factory workers also complained of non-payment of salaries.
