Turkish firm ready to invest in Afghan power projects

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Water and Power says that a Turkish company is willing to invest in power generation and water dam projects in Afghanistan.

Maulvi Arifullah Arif, deputy minister, won the assurance from the construction company representatives, the ministry said.

Maulvi Arif promised: “All domestic and foreign companies that are willing to invest in power generation will receive all-out cooperation.”

The Turkish company evinced its interest in the construction of dams, hydropower and wind power projects, the ministry concluded.
