KABUL (Pajhwok): Buber online taxi ordering has stopped functioning due to the overall deteriorated economic situation in the country and negative market impact, the company head said on Sunday.
Buber Head Hafeezullah Shujaee told Pajhwok Afghan News the company served people with taxi service under the name of ‘Buber’.
He said they started the online taxi service in Kabul two years back and extended the service to Balkh and Herat provinces as well.
The taxi service was online and was managed through a software application.
In addition, they transported food and other items of daily life to people at their doorsteps.
Shujaee said on May 12, Buber stopped its services in Afghanistan due to recent political changes and their negative impact on the market.
He, however, pledged Buber Company was committed to resuming its operation when the political and economic situation improve in the country.
