FIROZKOH (Pajhwok): Residents of western Ghor province say the historic Zahak Fortress is at the risk of destruction due to the negligence of the former government to preserve the historic relic and it would completely turn into ruins if not reconstructed in the near future.
The fortress, which is located five kilometers east of the city of Firozkoh city, the capital of Ghor province, in the Pozlij area, was once of great importance.
