KABUL (Pajhwok): Two of the four Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials who remained in England after the Under-19 cricket world cup have returned to the country, an official said on Monday.
ACB spokesman Farid Hotak in a message to Pajhwok Afghan News identified the returnees as Sherullah Afghan and Dr. Sifatullah.
He said the two officials wanted to live in the UK but they changed their mind and returned to the country to serve the nation.
He said Dr. Safiat and Afghan were warmly welcomed and assured a second chance to serve in the cricket board.
Two other ACB officials, Sadiqullah Abid and video journalist Sherullah remained in the UK after the under 19 cricket world.
In 2010, seven Afghanistan under 19 cricket players remained in Canada.
