11 held over possessing stinger missiles, drugs

KABUL (Pajhwok): Eleven persons have been arrested in Kabul, Nangarhar and Balkh provinces over allegedly smuggling stinger missiles and drugs, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Tuesday.

Two persons were arrested in Kabul in connection with the smuggling of stinger missiles in Khak-i-Jabbar district, MoI wrote on its Twitter handle.

Separately, six persons have been arrested in Nangarhar, Balkh and Kabul provinces in connection to drug trafficking.

Thousands of tablet K and some bottles of alcohol were recovered from the detainees, the ministry said.
