KABUL (Pajhwok): Former National Security Council official Entizar Khadim has returned to Afghanistan, the government said on Thursday.
Ahmadullah Waseeq, spokesperson for the Afghans Figures’ Repatriation Commission, wrote on his Twitter handle that the return of key Afghan figures was underway in response to calls from the panel.
“In this process, we welcome Syed Entizar Khadim. Afghanistan is home to all Afghans and we will work together for the reconstruction of Afghanistan,” he promised.
Waseeq also posted a photograph of Khadim, ex-head of the National Security Council’s Peace and Civilian Protection Department, with commission member Anas Haqqani.
