KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Sunday said 831 people had been arrested across the country for various crimes in the past one month and 12 others rescued from the clutches of their kidnappers.
Ministry of Interior (MoI) spokesman Abdul Nafee Takor, told a news conference here that some of the suspects had been handed over to the judiciary after investigations.
According to him, the suspects were arrested on charges of murder, robbery, kidnapping, corruption and various other crimes.
He added that in the past one month, security forces had seized 470 different types of weapons, 25 landmines . . .
