GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Metalworkers in southern Ghazni province have invented new solar panels that provided alternate energy of gas and fuel to cook food.
Most residents in Ghazni have started using these unique solar panels instead of buying gas, wood, or fuels for the kitchens.
Metalworkers said they used iron and pieces of mirrors in the making of these panels, they made these panels in a structure that help being the entire solar heat to one point after which it could heat up the dish.
“These panels are the best alternative for the use of gas and fuel, these are environmentally friendly, and take the same time as gas or fuel for the cooking of a dish,” metalworkers believed.
Sanaullah, one of the metalworkers, said he sold up to 12 solar panels daily and the price of one penal ranged from 4,500 afs to 6,000 afs.
He said it has a fair market in Ghazni this year, they made themselves and are good alternatives for gas and fuel.
