KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Education (MoE) has announced 7,200 new teachers posts, including 2,083 for women, in 20 provinces as part of the implementation of open competition process, an official said on Tuesday.
On his Twitter handle, the government Deputy Spokesperson Inamullah Samangani wrote: “The MoE in coordination with the National Examination Authority and the ICSARC has offered 7,200 new teachers posts.”
He wrote, that 2,083 posts are allocated for women and these posts would be announced from June 07 to 21.
Samangani said a joined team comprised of the representatives of the ICSARC and Human Resource Directorate had been dispatched to provinces for the implementation of this programme.
He said: “In the past government posts were kept hidden, sold but today the MoE took this responsibility and showed that government posts did not belong to a specific ethnic group or to some specific persons.”
Mawlavi Abdul Khaliq Sadiq, a senior official of the MoE, told reporters here the process of hiring for this process would take place through open competition, adding that eligible persons could participate in this process.
He said men and women could participate in this process.
