KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): Vice and Virtue department officials of southern Kandahar province on Thursday announced a number of new restrictions during a meeting with local journalists and representatives of media outlets, asking people to implement them.
The officials asked media outlets not to air music and asked people to avoid listening music in cars, weddings and on other occasions and places.
They said a woman alone could not travel in a taxi or rickshaw, there should be no smoking in coffee shops. They asked men to grow their beards and barbers to avoid trimming people’s beards. They asked the youth . . .
