Boy rescued from kidnappers in Farah

FARAH CITY (Pajhwok):  Police in the Bakwa district of western Farah province have rescued a 14-year-old boy and arrested two kidnappers, according to a statement on Saturday.

The rescued boy had been handed over to his family while detained kidnappers were being investigated, the statement said.

According to the statement, the boy was abducted five days ago from Lashkargha, the capital of southern Helmand. The source said the motive behind the abduction was unknown.
