QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): The Zad Ali health centre has been opened in the Muqar district of northwestern Badghis province after years of delay, an official said on Tuesday.
Public Health Director Mawlavi Muhammad Asif Qanet told Pajhwok Afghan News this health facility which was damaged as a result of fighting was closed for patients had been rehabilitated with 500,000 afs financial support of MMRCA.
He said after many years of closured the facility was reopened today (Tuesday) with functional vaccine, maternity and nutrition wards.
Local residents expressed satisfaction after the reopening of Zad Ali Health center and said that due to conflict and the closure of this health center they had to travel long distances to reach the hospital.
