Iran ready to invest in Afghanistan power sector

KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Bahadur Aminyan said his country was ready to invest in Afghanistan's power sector, according to a statement from Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) on Friday.

Besides other sectors, this time Iran wanted to invest in the electricity generation sector in Afghanistan, Aminyan was quoted as saying during a meeting with DABS Executive Director Mullah Mohammad Esa Sani.

Mullah Sani hailed Iran’s willingness to invest in the electricity generation sector and assured him of full cooperation.
