KABUL (Pajhwok): Two people were killed in a roadside bomb blast in the Khwaja Baghra area of central Kabul on Sunday, officials said.
Police spokesman Khalid Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place near Pul-e-Khwaja Baghra in the 15th district of Kabul.
The blast ripped through a vehicle, killing two people in the car.
He said an investigation team had reached the area and had launched its investigation.
A day earlier, gunmen attacked a Sikh temple in the Kart-e-Parwan area of Kabul, killing five people, including three assailants, and wounding seven others.
A Hindu and a security guard were among those killed in the attack that drew widespread condemnations.
