KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran has executed Abdul Latif Murdadi who was accused of killing three Iranian Shiite scholars in Mashad, according to a media report on Monday.
Ghulam Ali Sadiqi, head of the Razavi Khorasan province court, said Murdadi was executed in the Wakeelabad prison of Mashad in front of government officials and some local people.
Murdadi killed two Iranian Shia scholars and injured a third in a knife attack in April this year.
