KABUL (Pajhwok): A delegation from the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has visited Hindu and Sikh minority members at the site of Saturday’s attack.
The delegation assured them of full security and offered 500,000 in financial support each of the victims, the ministry said.
MoI Chief of Staff Maulvi Zainullah Abir, Maulvi Abdul Rahim Saqib and Kabul police chief Wali Jan Hamza visited the Hindu worship place in Kabul and met minority members and local people, according to a video released by the ministry.
Abir said: “The attack was a painful and tragic incident for all Afghans. We share this grief with you and I offer Interior Minister’s message of condolences. We will try to pay greater attention to your security.”
He said the problems faced by Sikh and Hindu minorities would be shared with top leaders.
