Aftershock kills 5, injures over 10 in Paktika

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least five people were killed and more than 10 injured as result of aftershock in the Giyan district of southeastern Paktika province on Friday morning, an official said.

National Radio Television Spokesperson Ahmadullah Waseeq on his Twitter handle wrote: “The aftershock occurred at a round 10:00am in which five people were killed and more than 10 injured.”

This comes that thousands of people have suffered casualties in an earthquake a couple of days back in Paktika and Khost provinces.
