KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has launched an urgent appeal for $110 million to assist 362,000 quack-affected people in Afghanistan.
On its Twitter handle the UNOCHA wrote: “#Afghanistan: Humanitarians launch urgent appeal for US$110M to assist 362K people following the recent earthquake."
“As the population confronts yet another emergency, I urge the international community to pledge support to these life-saving efforts," said Assistant UN Special Representative Ramiz Alakbarov.
