KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Wednesday said the Cabinet had banned all types of domestic business transactions in foreign currencies and it would implement the ban.
In a statement, the MoI, said: “According to the decision of the cabinet of the IEA, purchasing and selling land, houses, shops, markets, apartments, tools, vehicles, rent, and mortgages in foreign currencies is strictly banned.”
The ministry added that in order to implement the cabinet decision, it would direct all provincial police headquarters and intelligence agencies to monitor and prevent such cases.
The ministry said the violators would be dealt with . . .
