LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Two bodies of drowned individuals have been found in the Gerishk and Garamser districts of southern Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
Information and Culture Department Director Mohammad Qasim Riyaz said earlier two individuals were drowned in the Helmand River and their bodies recovered on Friday and handed over to their families.
It is pertinent to mention that drowning incidents often happened in Helmand. Heat waves in the province often forced people to swim and sometimes swimming costs their lives.
