KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of women in Kabul on Sunday asked the government to reopen girls schools above sixth grade.
Holding a protest meeting, the women said the government should not deprive a large segment of the society from education.
Addressing the gathering, one participant Aino Abzek said there were women who were without a breadwinner and confining such women to homes was a great injustice with them.
Another participant, Razia Sahar, also said the government should reopen girls schools above sixth grade as soon as possible. She said education was women’s fundamental right and no one could deprive . . .
